A high pressure system will cross Bass Strait tonight to reach the Tasman Sea o
n
Wednesday. A cold front will  move from south of the Bight to cross Victoria on
Thursday and then a high pressure system will develop south of South Australia
on Friday. This high is expected to move through Bass Strait on Saturday.


Forecast: Tonight and Wednesday
Fine. A mild to warm day with possible areas of smoke. Southerly wind easing
tonight then light to moderate northerly wind tomorrow and afternoon coastal
seabreezes.
Fire danger: High to very high.

Outlooks:
Thursday     Warm with fresh north to northwesterly winds ahead of a cooler
southwesterly change during the late morning to early afternoon. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms to follow.
Friday       Isolated showers mainly about the coast, clearing. Cool to mild.
Saturday     Fine. Cool to mild.
