After I had learned a bit about two part epoxy lamination techniques messing around with boats it was a small matter to take this experience back into custom residential construction.


Stair risers being laminated from 1/4" plywood on temporary framing. The riser on the right is completed and the handrail is being laminated on top of it. On the left the first run of 1/4" plywood has been set in position. West Hampton. Long Island

A laminated beam on an outdoor balcony. Here the deck joists were temporarily supported while beam was laminated onto their ends. Columns were installed beneath the beam after it was fixed securely to deck joists with steel brackets. The the temporary supports were then removed. West Hampton, Long Island
A formal set of stairs with risers laminated in place. Before hardwood treads were installed the handrails were laminated over top of the risers to ensure an exact match. West Hampton, Long Island
