Most of my recent cabinet work has involved my designing a custom installation as part of a remodeling job, giving the cut list to a shop for cutting, edging, mortising, etc, and then picking the job up as a flat pack to assemble and install on site.

Recently I looked after a small shop that manufactured timber specialty items and cabinets. Here's a picture of a shelving unit) which was a prototype for a proposed shopfitting rollout in a chain of stores. It was designed specifically for economy and manufacture in a disabilities enterprise from precisely two sheets of 16mm white melamine.
